It is that time of year again, where we have to face the Tax Stuff, as most people call it. We are well under way with tax season, as over 1/2 of you have already came to see us and have already filed your tax returns, and got some nice refunds for some of you. Please do not delay in bringing your information in to us, as the sooner the better when it comes to the April 30th deadline.
An Important note: If you sold your home (Principle Residence) make sure your accountant or more importantly the CRA is notified on your 2017 Tax Return. Scary Fines from the Canada Revenue Agency if you sold your house in 2017 and do not report it on your 2017 Tax Return!!!
Usually not taxable, but MUST be reported!
